one size fits all

the other day one of my faithful readers, lib, mentioned to me that i should be putting more women of average size on my blog. i like that idea, and funny she should say that, because i happened to have stumbled upon this really fun shoot, with jacquelyn jablonski (left) and crystal renn (right), shot by terry richardson. the description reads that "if it's bright enough, tight enough, or eye-poppingly printed enough, odds are it'll work on any figure," and i really love and appreciate that while they are still in a clear minority, it's getting easier to see that women of more realistic body types are infiltrating the overall insanity that is the industry of fashion.
